The Porch Sunday - Monday Closed
Tuesday - Saturday 11 am to 2 pm

Settle down with a cup of tea and a good friend or a good book in a tea-room atmosphere at The Porch. Offering soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts and fine teas, nearly all menu items are made from scratch, in-house, using the most natural ingredients available.

Using organic and local produce whenever possible, as well as grain the owners regularly mill themselves, the menu items are as unique and comfortable as lunch at home on the countryside. There are plenty of options for tea, with more than 40 available — some of which are blended in-house exclusively for The Porch. Before your arrival, view the cafe’s menu online by visiting The Porch’s Facebook page.

An eclectic mix of books includes many out-of-print titles, and the gifts available for purchase include old and new items. There are treasures for all ages.

The Porch’s historic building is the former Center Township School #5, the Jordan School, with the original deed dating back to April 1856.
